There are no strictly defined classes, and the combat will be skill-based. Chronicles of Elyira has the potential to be one of the best mmorpg games of all time.

Whoever told you anything bad about Final Fantasy XIV is definitely wrong. It’s a great game, and overall my favorite MMORPG out of most these days. Yes it’s subscription based, but at least it’s not p2w. Elder Scrolls Online I have played since release and it was meh, but I have no idea how much it inproved.

Definitely give FFXIV a try though

Gotta say, swtor should be on this list, especially with the upcoming expansion coming out in September, it’s going to enhance the game as a whole.

The list looks good, but there are a few games on this list that aren’t even MMOs let alone MMORPGs.

Atlas is not an MMO. You have to pick ONE single island to play on and it can only hold up to 50 players at any given time. At least that was the case last time i read up on it.

Lost Ark is not an MMO, but a F2P online co-op action RPG in the same line as Diablo 3/Torchlight 1/2.

Soulworker is the least MMO of all the games on the list as you play on microscopic maps relative to the open worlds of actual MMORPGs, and they’re all instanced. The player hub is also microscopic in size in that, you can only ever see between 15-20 players at any given time. In fact, the maps are even smaller than any map in Diablo 3/Torchlight 1/2. Absolutely zero massively about Soulworker.

You’ve listed a whole bunch of games that aren’t even out yet as “the best of 2019”. How does that make any kind of sense?!

Thank you for your feedback! we appreciate it.
We have listed the 27 best games in 2019 and beyond, therefore we felt that they should be on our list for all our reader to note them.

The moment atlas joined this list, it lost any kind of integrity it had.
Atlas isnt even an MMORPG, its just several 120 man servers stiched together.
And even if you count that as MMORPG its still the worst game of 2019.
I mean there are people with actual lawsuits against the company for scamming them.
The game was meant to be a Ark DLC but the puplisher decided that selling it as “new game” would bring more money.

How the hell did even think of putting this on the list?

Warframe is also not an MMORPG, its an MMO but not an MMORPG.
For Clearence its called Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.
Warframe has 4 man coop at best. That not even Massive Multiplayer.

Wasnt Project TL canceld?

Its not even clear if Lost Ark will come to the west.

All in all a lackluster list that shows that not mutch research flowed into this.

Thank you very much for the great feedback! we very appreciate it.
1. We are going to update our list very soon, that means that few games are going to be deleted and new games are going to be added, so stay tuned :), and you are welcome to share your favorite games with us.
2. Warframe is MMO that is why this list is MMORPG & MMO.
3. About Project TL canceled: We are also don’t have the answer at this moment as you all know, this is why we have removed it from our list.
4. About Lost Ark this is a very good game and still, we are waiting for an update when it’s will come to the west and will update you. (Not all our readers from the west and we like to share the game with them also).

So again we really appreciate your great feedback it’s important to us, we are from time to time update our articles, and if you have found any mistakes or have games that you like us to add /remove, your more then welcome to let us know in the comments! Thanks!

Worlds Adrift was canceled as of 7/28/2019. Poor management decisions and the studio’s inability to market the product killed a fantastic game.

Blade and Soul ? Really ? They removed all the skill needed ages ago. Back when i used to play, legendary weapons used to mean something, now every average joe has one. They removed the skill trees and instead made it so that you can only choose one of 2-3 pre-sets. And so on… And the next worst thing is the player-base, they can’t stop complaining about yeti being too hard, even after the nerfs which made it soloable to most good players. We used to be able to do things like dodging 8 consecutive AoEs from the yeti, we could use assassin-taxi to skip most of the stages before the yeti… But it’s still too hard for them.

RuneScape 2 is on mobile as Old School RuneScape. RuneScape 2 (and RuneScape Classic as well as RuneScape HD) was written in pure Java and was put into web browsers, this was continued until 2013, as times move on though, unfortunately developers do as well. These days Jagex is using their own NXT program for adding assets to RuneScape, the new version of RuneScape is actually called RuneScape 3 (RS3) which runs on a C++ standalone executable (.exe made with C++) this allowed for the developers and designers to add many more GPU intensive particle effects, high quality shaders, high poly models and much more. RuneScape Classic was released in 1998 and that version continued to 2004 until they released RuneScape 2.

In short RuneScape 3 is not playable on mobile, Old School RuneScape is however and this is brilliant as fans can play the classic game once more for free. RuneScape 3 requires your PC to have updated graphics drivers as well or the client won’t load, these points may be worth noting and hope this helps.
